Taiwan: Christening Ceremony for New CSBC Corp’s Vessel

Wan Hai Lines held christening ceremony for “WAN HAI 275″ at CSBC CORP., TAIWAN Keelung shipyard on Apr.11. Mr. Po Ting Chen, chairman of Wan Hai Lines presided over the ceremony.

Wan Hai Lines held christening ceremony for “WAN HAI 275″ at CSBC CORP., TAIWAN Keelung shipyard on Apr.11. Mr. Po Ting Chen, chairman of Wan Hai Lines presided over the ceremony.

There are total 14 vessels ordered by Wan Hai to CSBC Corp, including four 1,800 TEUs, four 1,000 TEUs and six 4,500 TEUs which will be delivered in two years. The principal particulars of “WAN HAI 275″ are as follows: maximum loading capacity is 1,805 TEU, length over all, 172.1 meters; draft, 9.5 meters; 21,762 dead weight and 20 nautical miles max cruising speed. This fully containerized vessel is equipped with the latest and most advanced naval technologies in order to guarantee quality services to both Wan Hai’s network and the customers
