Construction works to affect marine traffic in Hong Kong
HONG KONG's Marine Department has announced that temporary marine traffic arrangements will be implemented from 0600 hours to midnight on April 4.
To facilitate the pile cap construction works at the navigation channels across the works area of the Hong Kong Link Road, the southwest-bound channel will be closed to marine traffic.
The northeast-bound channel will be opened for ships to travel across the works area from both directions. Guard boats will be stationed at the approaches to the navigation channels to provide guidance to approaching vessels.
In the event of bad weather, the pile cap construction works at the navigation channels will be postponed to April 6, reported GAC.
