A fire broke out in several containers on the aft cargo deck of the 'SITC Osaka', berthed at the container terminal of Rokko island, Kobe, since May 4. All crew members were evacuated, and firefighting was going on. It was not clear ifthe fire was related to the recent mishap, when the container ship was hit by the 'NYC Venus'.
