TAIWAN-based Wan Hai Lines is boosting its south east Asia services to Yangon, Myanmar, by teaming up with Inter-Asia Lines to provide a "more comprehensive and dedicated service" for the Yangon market.
Starting from November 20, Wan Hai Lines will deploy one of its own vessels in the SYM service that is operated by three 660-TEU ships. Inter-Asia Lines is providing the other two ships for the joint service.
The rotation for the SYM service is Singapore, Yangon, Port Klang (North Port), Port Klang (West Port), Yangon and back to Singapore in a 21-day loop.
Wan Hai Lines will also swap space with Inter-Asia Lines to gain access to another service, the MTS. The rotation is: Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Port Klang, Yangon, Port Klang, Laem Chabang and back to Bangkok.
