US federal eco agency tells ships to slow after three whales spotted
TO protect three whales spotted off Georgia, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries Service has told ships traversing its designated "Dynamic Management Area" near Savannah to move at a no more than 10 knots if re-routing is not possible.
The zone will remain active through February 7. The previous Dynamic Management Area established off Palm Coast, Flordia, is nolonger active, reports GAC's Hot Port News.
