Ukraine: grain caravans started to be formed in 3 ports

The Ukrainian Ports Administration reported that grain caravans have begun to be created in the ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny.

The Ukrainian Ports Administration reported that grain caravans have begun to be created at three ports. In the statement made by the Ports Administration, it was stated that in connection with the signing of the initiative for the export of grain and related food products by sea on July 22, 2022, preparations were made for the re-opening of the ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny.

It was pointed out in the statement that an application should be made for the ships to be included in the caravan, and it was stated that the entrance and exit of these ships to the specified ports will be carried out under the leadership of a ship.

Under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the "Safe Shipment of Grain and Foodstuffs from Ukrainian Ports Initiative Document" was signed between Turkey, Russia, ukraine and the United Nations (UN) on July 22 in Istanbul.
