The Kaliningrad Bracnh of the Investigation Committee of Russia has launched an investigation after two dead bodies were found in a cargo hold of the "Lady Serra" while she was docked at Svetly. The vessel had arrived from Lagos on March 8, 2017, with a cargo of beans. Upon leaving Nigeria, four stowaways had beeb found bythe crew, seized and handed over to the Nigerian authorities. The dead male persons were also stowaways, who weren’t found along with the other four, and died during the voyage. It is known that Lady Serra came to the port of Svetly Kaliningrad region from the Nigerian city of Lagos, where three weeks ago there was a loading of bean products.According to the investigation, after the dry cargo ship went to the Gulf of Guinea, the crew found on board four Nigerians, invisibly sneaking onto the ship. Illegals were promptly transferred to the authorities of Nigeria, however, apparently, two foreigners managed to hide on the ship.Kaliningrad criminalists did not find signs of violent death on the bodies. Currently, a procedural check is in progress. Dry cargo ship Lady Serra, built in 2011, is flying the flag of the Marshall Islands. The vessel is a so-called.
