On June 10, 2018, at 4.30 a.m. the 'Hent-ar-Mor I - GV.722678“, 90 gt, ran aground near the port of Loctudy in Finistere. The trawler was coming back from fishing and got stuck in a short distance of the lighthouse of Perdrix in the Bay of Saint Jean de Luz with a list to starboard. The crew of five remained uninjured. Three of them were evacuated, only the skipper and one of his sailors remained on board to allow to restart the machine when conditions permitted. The ship was resting on sandy bottom. The CROSS Corsen notified the SNSM to assist the trawler with rising tide. The 'Ile-Tudy', the lifeboat of the station in Loctudy, however, attended, but did not have to intervene. The 'Hent-ar-Mor I' was able to get off without help and returned to the port at 1.30 p.m. No damage was found.
