The "Sogn" serving between between Bruravik and Brimnes Hordaland ran straight into rocks at the south side of the Hardanger Fjord on Aug 26, 2011, at 6.44 a.m. The "Sogn" was about 200 meters from the pier at Brimnes when the accident happened. 13 passengers were on board, but none of them were injured. By 7.45 a.m. all passengers had disembarked. There were also 10 cars and a crew of six on board the ferry. The ship suffered damage to the rudder and propeller system and will have to undergo repairs either at Ulvik or Brimnes. Divers were sent down to investigate the damage. An attempt to refloat with own power at 10 a.m. failed.
