SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) is teaming up with Alibaba's logistics arm, Cainiao Network, in a push to 'enhance international air cargo services.'
The tie-up will see SIA joining Cainiao Network's broader efforts to develop 'a global smart logistics network that delivers across China within 24 hours and globally within 72 hours,' reported London's Air Cargo News.
No further details were disclosed about the cargo element of the deal.
The two companies said their partnership aims to enhance the 'customer experience for travellers through the transformative potential of technology, as well as joining forces in other areas.'
