The Uruguayan Navy resumed the search for the 22 crew members of the "Stellar Daisy", after the mission was suspended due to the deterioration of the weather conditions on Apr 12, and the units joined the two aircraft that had conitnued to operate. One of the aircraft was of American and the other of of Brazilian origin. The "General Artigas - ROU 04" of the Uruguayan Navy started its search on Apr 13 after the activity was suspended due to the waves heights of five and six meters and winds of 66 kilometers per hour. Meanwhile, two other vessels were withdrawn from the operation, the corvette "Guerrico" and one of the merchant ships. There were currently five vessels participating in the mission.
