SAUDIA Cargo has signed global logistics partnership agreements with Scan Global Logistics (SGL) and Air Logistics Europe.
The partnership with SGL provides the Danish logistics company with priority access to saudia Cargo's global network, reports London Air Cargo News.
To further enhance its European presence, Saudia Cargo has also signed an agreement with Air Logistics Europe with the aim of providing integrated and flexible air cargo solutions between the UK and Saudi Arabia.
The agreements were formalised during the recent Air Cargo Europe event in Munich, Germany.
Loay Mashabi, chief executive and managing director of Saudia Cargo, stated: 'By strategically leveraging the unique strengths of each partnership, we are poised to unlock new market opportunities, drive operational excellence, and create exceptional value for our customers worldwide.'
Saudia Cargo recently took steps to expand its business in China.
In May, Saudia Cargo and China Henan Aviation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work on developing new cargo services. And in April, Saudia Cargo and China Cargo Airlines signed an MoU aimed at developing interline agreements and capitalising on trade growth between Saudi Arabia and China.
Saudia Cargo transported 577,870 tonnes of cargo in 2024, recording 27 per cent year-on-year growth.
