Fully cellular containership MSC Cordoba (50963 gt, built 2008), en route from Antwerp, Belgium to Gebze, Turkey, in position lat 050 17 14.5N, long 000 55 33.0W, 23 nautical miles, southeast of St Catherine?s Point, reported a broken fuel pump, today. Subsequently, the vessel was reported to be, not under command. The vessel is carrying Dangerous Goods of class 2.1, 2.2, 3, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 8 and 9 on board, and 700 metric tonnes on low sulfur oil, 53 metric tonnes of lube oil, 114.1 metric tonnes of diesel oil and 273.8 metric tonnes of high sulfur oil. According to reports, the issue has been fixed and the vessel is currently, underway.
