The Spanish Port of Valencia expects to welcome 197 cruise calls in 2018, increasing the number of cruise passengers arriving in the city by over 3%. Forecasts indicate that the main month for cruise traffic will be April, with 35 port calls scheduled. During September, October and November the port of Valencia expects to receive 81 cruise calls. MSC Cruises has scheduled over 40 port calls at the port, choosing it as the base for MSC Divina, which will cover the campaign from March to September and MSC Meraviglia, which will cover homeport in Valencia in October and November. The port of Valencia has two docks that allow berthing of vessels of up to 300 metres in length and two other docking alignments located at the northern extension of 430 and 440 metres respectively, and a draft of 16 metres respectively.
