THE 4,250-TEU Singapore flagged Kota Lembah, managed by Singapore's Pacific International Lines (PIL), collided with a fishing boat early in the morning of July 28 in Bay of Plenty, off northern North Island, NZ, reports Kiev's Maritime Bulletin, which specialises in marine casualties.
Fishermen were not injured, though their boat was damaged. The Kota Lembah suffered no damage, but had to interrupt its voyage and call at Auckland to face official inquiries.
The Kota Lembah left Auckland on August 1, bound for Wellington and was expected to arrive today August 3.
