THE 2018-built 14,052 TEU Panama-flagged ONE Aquila, which was diverted to Tacoma while on its way to Port of Long Beach after containers collapsed in bad weather on October 30, is now due to arrive at its original destination towards the end of the month.
The ONE Aquila arrived at the Port of Tacoma on November 6 where containers were being discharged while the vessel was being surveyed.
'After completion of the discharge operations and repair works, the vessel is to continue her voyage as per her original service rotation,' ONE said in a customer advisory.
The ONE Aquila is now scheduled to call Long Beach on November 26 and Oakland on December 4. The dates are subject to progress on the survey and discharge work in Tacoma, the Singapore-based shipping line said, according to Colchester's Seatrade Maritime News.
