NYK moves stowage unit from Singapore to Japan under all-Japanese staff
JAPANESE shipping giant NYK and Kozo Keikaku Engineering, will move NYK's stowage planning centre from Singapore to Ozu, in Japan's Kumamoto prefecture early next year.
"The all-Japanese staff in Kumamoto will aim to further improve operational quality," said the NYK statement.
"We will make every effort to provide stable value-added services by fusing NYK Group's "on-site capabilities with Kozo Keikaku Engineering's operations research techniques and the data-analysis technology.
A ceremony to commemorate the opening of this new planning centre will be held in Kumamoto city on September 12.
