RUSSIA's Black Sea harbour of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port handled 45.9 million tons in January-April this year, 3.7 per cent below the January-April 2019 result, reports St Petersburg's SeaNews.
Novorossiysk assets, NCSP proper, IPP, Novoroslesexport, Novorossiysk Shiprepair Yard, Novorossiysk Grain Terminal and Novorossiysk Fuel Oil Terminal, a joint venture with Chernomorskie Main Pipeline Company, handled 23.7 million tons, down 16.1 per cent year-on-year and down 8.2 per cent month-to-month.
Baltiysk-based Baltic Stevedore Company saw its throughput decline 32.9 per cent in TEU and 24.8 per cent in tonnage. Primorsk was slightly up 15.3 per cent year-on-year to 21.9 million tons.
