THE Nigeria Customs Service has commenced a specialised training programme to strengthen its oversight of aviation operations, with 150 officers expected to complete the course, reports Lagos' Punch daily newspaper.
Top Brass Aviation Limited CEO Captain Roland Iyayi confirmed the initiative, stating that the first group of officers has already undergone training.
At the same time, the next batch is scheduled for later this month.
Mr Iyayi stated the first batch was trained recently, and another group will undergo training from March 24 to 28.
He emphasised that the programme is designed to equip officers with the necessary skills to effectively manage operations at the country's key international airports and seaports.
