Netherlands-Flag, 107 meters dry cargo vessel "M/V Nova Cura" went aground on difficult strait in Western coast of Turkey, a Strait known for Müsellim Rocks near Ayvacik district of Çanakkale.
The 3999 GT Nova Cura went aground for an unknown reason and preliminary salvage efforts have given no results due to unsussicient power of tugboat that was sent upon the demand of Captain from Greek authorities.
The passage is between Turkish mainland and Greek island Lesbos.
A new plan is said to be underway to refloat the vessel.
