The 'Lifeline' with 239 migrants on board, among them 14 women and four toddlers who were rescued on June 21 off the Libyan Coast was still held off Malta on June 25 after both Malta and Italy refused to accept the distressed people. On June 24 they were supplied with water and food from Malta. The NGO vessels 'Sea Eye' and 'Sea Watch' assisted with blankets and medication. The Mission Lifeline was looking for a diplomatic solution and was in talk with several states willing to help the refugees.
