The 'Cuyahoga' reported that oil was leaking out of one of the vessel's discharges during loading operations at the LS & I Ore dock in Marquette in position 46 34.8 N, 87 23.4 W, on Sep 20, 2018, at 5.30 p.m. The crew immediately contained the spill with the ship's oil boom. The oil spill, caused by a leaking lube oil cooler, was contained and cleaned up before the vessel left the dock.
