HUNDREDS of Inverclyde shipyard workers could lose their jobs if Scotland separates from the United Kingdom, it is claimed. Evidence given by union officials to a Westminster committee suggested that, without UK defence contracts, the shipbuilding industry in Scotland could be 'finished'.
