ALL Nippon Airways (ANA) has become the first Japanese airline to list its air cargo capacity on CargoWise, enabling forwarders to book space directly through the digital platform, reports London's Air Cargo News.
With CargoWise, forwarders can search for flights, make reservations, confirm bookings, and compare rates for ANA cargo services anytime online.
ANA stated that DHL Global Forwarding is its first customer to utilize the new digital connection, with plans to expand access to more forwarders in the future.
The airline added that the move is part of its broader effort to enhance and streamline digital cargo booking operations for its partners.
'ANA flies to major destinations around the world, and we are committed to making it easier and more efficient for our customers to use our network through the reservation system they use,' said ANA Cargo business unit general manager Kenichi Wakiya.
'We will work to further improve the convenience of cargo space reservations.'
