Japan's MOL again wins a place on Dow Jones Sustainability Index
MITSUI OSK Lines (MOL) has again been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) Asia Pacific that focus on the performance of the sustainability-driven companies worldwide. It has continuously made the grade over the last decade.
The selections for the DJSI were made by S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM after a thorough assessment process, a statement from MOL said.
Companies chosen for the index must meet international criteria for social responsibility in areas such as environmental protection, human rights, corporate governance, and relationships with stakeholders, and are expected to demonstrate sustainable business practices. Selected companies become target investments for ESG funds.
