THE London Stock Exchange Group has honoured Imperial Logistics' healthcare business in Nigeria, Worldwide Healthcare, as one of the Companies to Inspire Africa this year.
Imperial Logistics Africa region CEO Johan Truter notes that Worldwide Healthcare's position on the London Stock Exchange Group's Companies to Inspire Africa Report is a tribute to the hard work of the entire team.
The report recognises high-growth firms that are deemed vital to the future of the African economy - capable of driving transformative economic growth in their home countries, on the African continent and beyond.
Other recent awards garnered by Imperial Logistics' Africa division include a 'Distributor of the Year' award for its pharmaceutical distributor business in Kenya by global health and hygiene company, Essity.
In another achievement in East Africa, the Kenya Revenue Authority presented Imperial Logistics' Managed Solutions business with a top taxpayer's award. 'This annual award recognises businesses for exemplary tax compliance,' Mr Truter said.
