IAG Cargo is launching a new non-stop service between London Heathrow and Durban, starting from October 29.
The thrice weekly service will cater for the demands of South Africa's manufacturing sector, which accounts for eight per cent of the country's exports, London's Air Cargo News reported.
Customers will have access to up to 15 tonnes of lift per flight on board a Boeing 787-8 aircraft, with the service operating on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from London Heathrow, with return flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Sales director Camilo Garcia explained: 'Our latest service underlines our commitment to giving our customers the capacity and routes they need and further highlights the strength of our industry-leading proposition to the African market.'
