HK off 16pc to 1.21 million TEU, Shanghai fell 25.4, Singapore off 7.7pc
FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department showed the port handled 1.21 million TEU in February, representing a year-on-year decrease of 16 per cent from 1.21 million TEU in February last year.
Shanghai port fell 25.4pc in February this year but the port handled 2.59 TEU, slightly higher than 2.57 TEU in the same month last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 7.7pc decrease in container movement in February, having handled 2.41 million TEU compared to 2.61 million TEU in February last year.
