HAMBURGER Hafen und Logistik AG's (HHLA) Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA) has been entirely digitized and managed using the passify app, reports London's Port Technology International.
The application has processed 200,000 arrivals at HHLA's three Hamburg terminals since its launch at the beginning of the year.
hhla has completed the introduction of the digital solution.
Previously, passify was implemented at the Burchardkai (CTB) and Tollerort (CTT) terminals. The unique self-service app automates and digitalises truck handling at ports and depots, allowing drivers to schedule slots, check in digitally, and identify themselves using two-factor authentication.
13,000 truck drivers and haulage businesses already use passify to manage terminal access.
The software is completely linked with the HHLA terminals' gate operations and aids truck drivers during the whole processing process.
The product was created by HHLA Next, HHLA's venture-building and investing arm.
