A LOADER sustained a severe leg injury while moving heavy cargo in the air cargo complex at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharah International Airport.
According to a Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), 44-year-old Mahender Singh Saini was employed with Omega Enterprises, a service provider for Mumbai Cargo Service Centre Airport Pte Ltd, reported the Mumbai Mirror.
'He sustained an injury to the right lower leg due to an accidental fall of heavy cargo while moving a pallet at 3am. MIAL doctors attended to him and shifted him to Holy Spirit Hospital where he underwent surgery for compound fracture of his right tibia and fibula. He is stable now,' said a MIAL spokesman.
