G6 Alliance to vary coverage on Asia-Europe tradelane into Black Sea
THE G6 Alliance members are to modify their trade routes between the Far East and the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean, starting from September 2.
The last sailing for the ABX service will be made by the MOL Performance, with an estimated time of arrival in Ningbo on August 30.
All port coverage will be maintained by a new dedicated feeder service with a connection to Port Said in Egypt, which will be added to Loop 4 of the G6 Alliance. The G6 Mediterranean service, EUM, will also provide a connection to the newly deployed Black Sea feeder through the existing Port Said call, according to media reports.
The new port rotation is Port Said, Ashdod (Israel), Istanbul, Constanta (Romania), Odessa, (Ukraine), Istanbul, Ashdod and back to Port Said. The weekly service will provide coverage of the Black Sea with two 3,000-TEU vessels.
The six members of the G6 Alliance are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, HMM, MOL, NYK and OOCL.
