FEDEX Express, a subsidiary of fedex Co, has expanded its Delivery Manager International (FDMi) to include inbound residential shipment redelivery to effect more flexible deliveries, the company said.
FedEx said it has also redesigned the current door tag for customers who cannot pick up their shipments on the first delivery attempt.
By scanning the QR code on the door tag and entering FDMi, customers can schedule shipments to be re-delivered to the same recipient address or FedEx facility through several simple steps.
Currently, FedEx has two FedEx ship centres, eight FedEx ship stations, thirty-seven 7-Eleven convenience stores, and 110 Alfred lockers in Hong Kong.
Customers using TNT Express can also scan the QR code to rearrange shipments to FedEx facilities and the same recipient address offices.
