UK-BASED freight forwarder AGI Global Logistics has appointed emma Phillips as divisional commercial director.
Ms Phillips has worked in multimodal transport & logistics for over 20 years and previously spent over 13 years working for logistics company Amco, most recently as senior business development manager.
In her new role, Ms Phillips will work with the AGI board to implement the company's sales strategy, support the development of the sales team and collaborate with partners to optimise service to new and existing customers.
AGI said in a recent Linkedin post: 'We are delighted to welcome Emma Phillips to AGI. Emma joins us as our Divisional Commercial Director and brings a wealth of multimodal transport experience to the team.'
Ms Phillips commented: 'I am really excited to be joining the AGI team to help drive its next phase of growth while building strong, lasting customer relationships.'
AGI also recently appointed Jason Spencer Knox as group chief operating officer, reports London's Air Cargo News.
