DFDS confirmed yesterday that negotiations between DFDS and
the German shipyard P+S Werften GmbH, Stralsund, concerning the
construction of two freight ships (ro-ro) are ongoing. The offered price of the two newbuildings is EUR 84m.DFDS had cancelled its previous contracts with P+S Werften for the
two ships after the yard filed for insovency in August when talks with
creditors, customers and suppliers broke down. The contracts were
cancelled on account of the shipyard’s breach of several terms of the

signed, will moreover be subject to a number of conditions. More
