Delta Cargo has joined the cargo.one digital platform and announced new routes to Morocco and New Zealand, enhancing its global reach and customer-focused services, reports Mumbai's STAT Trade Times.
The US-based carrier's integration with cargo.one allows accredited freight forwarders to compare rates, book shipments in real time and access full shipment details. Initially, services are available for cargo originating from Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Additional regions will be added later this year as delta scales its digital accessibility across global markets.
On October 25, Delta will launch a new transatlantic service between Atlanta and Marrakech, offering 5-8 tonnes of cargo capacity per flight. The route will support Morocco's exports including fruit, fish and fashion.
Delta will also resume daily flights between Los Angeles and Auckland using an Airbus A350, providing up to 15 tonnes of cargo capacity each way. The reinstated service restores key transpacific connectivity.
