DUBAI's Marcura Group's CP-Desk has announced the launch of CP-Vault, an online solution that digitally captures charter party documentation and information for contract management, reports London's Digital Ship.
CP-Vault will digitise paper-based charter documentation, then organise and store it in an online repository. The data will be hosted at an ISO-certified and SSAE-audited facility within the EU, and will be accessible from anywhere, according to CP-Desk.
A dashboard will provide an overview of charter documentation, and users will also be provided with version control and version history, as well as drop down menus, email notifications as well as drag and drop functions.
"We developed CP-Vault based on customer input, and we have beta tested the solution with several key brokers and charterers with excellent results," said CP-Desk managing director Errol Gonsalves.
"This will help streamline these complex, time consuming processes as well as enable CP Desk to strengthen our position as a premier provider of charter party administration services," said Capt Goonsalves.
