Cosco Pacific volume up 6pc with Yangtze ports trailing in growth
COSCO group's terminal operator Cosco Pacific posted a six per cent year-on-year increase in cross-the-board volume in January throughput to 5.9 million TEU.
Cosco Pacific's Pearl River ports grew nine per cent year on year to 1.7 million TEU in January.
While newer terminals on the southeast coast posted the highest growth of 32 per cent with international operations recording increases of 11 per cent, older ports in the Bohai Rim were up on 1.4 per cent while Yangtze terminals grew 0.1 per cent.
