In the afternoon of July 7, 2018, the Argentine 16-m-trawler 'Chatka I (M.N. 02893)' of the Chatka Patagonica S.A., a company which belongs to the Food Partners Patagonia, was in collision with the 'Siempre Santa Rosa (M.N. 0494)' during fishing maneuvers in national waters off Argentine. One crew member of the 'Chtka I' fell ito the water but could be rescued with a rope. He had a slight hypothermia and was checked at the hospital of Camarones but did not suffer serious injuries. Aboard the 'Chatka I' a pole broke, and lose nets fouled the propeller leaving the ship without propulsion, so it had be towed to the nearest port which was Camarones. The 'Siempre Santa Rosa' suffered hull damage which would delay the return to fishing operations. The detachment of the Naval Prefecture of Chubut launched an investigations. On July 10 inspectors arrived in port and checked the ships which remained detained in port.
