CMA CGM hikes terminal handling charges at Kolkata, Cochin and Haldia

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced new terminal handling charges at the Indian ports of Kolkata, Cochin and Haldia effective March 21 and April 10 - except for US trades.
From March 21 until further notice, except US trades, for dry export and import terminal handling charges will be INR10,150 (US$133) per TEU, INR15,000 per dry FEU and INR17,620 per dry 45 footer.
From March 21 reefer boxes will be charged INR11,900 per TEU and INR18,150 per FEU while hazardous export boxes will be handled at INR10,500 per TEU and INR15,650 per FEU and INR19,620 per 45 footer.
Hazardous import boxes will be handled for the same amount except for the 45 footers that will be charged INR20,050 per unit. Out of gauge (OOG) export boxes will be charged at a rate of INR19,650 per TEU, INR29,150 per FEU while OOG import boxes will be charged INR14,550 per TEU and INR 22,550 per FEU.
At Cochin, import and export containers April 10 will be charged INR9,650 per dry TEU, INR13,950 per dry FEU, INR18,000 per reefer TEU and INR26,700 per reefer FEU and INR14,550 per hazardous TEU, INR21,550 per hazardous and INR26,900 per hazardous 45 footer, while INR20,450 will be charged per out of gauge TEU and INR20,450 per out of gauge FEU.
