NETHERLAND's based CEVA has appointed a new chief of China operations, Jaap Bruining, who will work in Shanghai, bringing eight years of operational experience within CEVA.
Mr Bruining's career with CEVA began as global LEAN (cost cutting) director, he then took on his current role as vice president of operations for contract logistics in Thailand.
Before joining CEVA, Bruining worked for Booz&Company as a strategy development, project management, and organisational change consultant for two and a half years and before that for Shell International Chemicals as a production engineer for four years, both based in the Netherlands.
"With his background in both strategy and operations, he brings a good mix of understanding customers' overall needs, the market and operational execution. Jaap's experience and leadership track record will be a great contribution to CEVA's China team," said CEVA China vice president Martin Thaysen.
