August 7 morning, the 179.9 m, deadweight 31,000 tons bulk carrier "Jiangquan 6" with a load of 24,000 tons of ore passing from north to south through the waters near the Green Mountain, off Zhoushan, China allegedly as a result of deviation from from the pre-set course due to fishing vessels to avoid accident, hit the outer reef after which started to take in water from damaged fore tanks.
