The exported cargo from the port rose by 11.5 per cent last month to 892,104 tonnes, including 208,785 tonnes (+0.1 per cent) of paper cargo, 187,784 tonnes (down 0.6 per cent) of liquid bulk cargo, 175,885 tonnes (+49.8 per cent) of sawn goods, and 120,693 tonnes (down 12.6 per cent) of dry bulk cargo, reported Maritime Herald, Varna Bulgaria.
Imported cargo volume at the port declined by 11.2 per cent to 264,280 tonnes, including 84,860 tons (down 22.9 per cent) of liquid bulk cargo, 83,140 tonnes (+14 per cent) of general cargo, and 47,003 tonnes (+23 per cent) of dry bulk cargo.
The transit traffic at the port rose by 5.3 per cent year on year in January to 306,293 tonnes, including export and import. Coastal traffic decreased by 43.7 per cent to 61,888 tonnes.
