UKRAINIAN seaports posted a 4.1 per cent year-on-year increase in container throughput 1.05 million TEU in 2020, reported St Petersburg's PortNews.
Meanwhile, Russia's largest Black Sea port of Novorossiysk during 2020 handled 783,200 TEU growing 1.9 per cent.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration, export container traffic via the Ukrainian seaports made 49,400 TEU, up 4.2 per cent year on year.
Imports increased by 3.4 per cent to 509,600 TEU. Transit container traffic via the major Ukrainian ports grew by 12.9 per cent up to 44,200 TEU.
