THE Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (PA) reported a stable air cargo demand in July, reports London's Air Cargo News.
PA figures show that traffic measured in FTK was 16 per cent down year on year during the month while the average load factor was 10.4 points higher at 69.7 per cent in July.
The report demonstrates a sharp reduction in bellyhold cargo capacity following the grounding of most international passenger service operations.
PA said that airlines have seen a relatively stable demand for international air cargo shipments following a reasonable recovery in the global manufacturing sector.
Demand is 16.2 per cent down compared to the same timeframe in 2019, over the last seven months.
