The 'Malaviya 20' which has impounded in an English port for more than two years was finally on the verge of being sold. She has been stuck in Great Yarmouth in Norfolk since June 2016 due to legal wrangles and was now being sold by the Admiralty Marshal. Bids for the ship will open on Sep 11, with the proceeds going to pay debts including crew wages and port fees. Captain Nikesh Rastogi joined the already-marooned vessel 18 months ago but has not been paid since late last year, along with his three crew members. The ship was detained by the Admiralty Marshal when the crew's lawyers secured a High Court order last month. The owners went into liquidation in January.
