ARES Shipyard has proudly announced a new contract signed with the Directorate General of Coastal Safety for 16-off ARES 17 SAR Search and Rescue Vessel.
After successfully completing the Control Boat Project, which involved the serial production of 188 fast patrol boats, ARES Shipyard has started the preparations for the new Coastal Safety Project.
18.50 meters in length and aluminum-hull ARES 17 SAR Search and Rescue Boats will be built in compliance with Turkish Lloyd classification rules. These vessels will operate 24/7 in Türkiye's maritime jurisdiction areas and the Turkish Straits, aiming to enhance navigational safety and ensure the protection of life, property, the environment, and maritime security.
