RUSSIAN flag carrier Aeroflot has posted a 10.2 per cent year-on-year increase to 42.2 million passengers in the first nine month of 2018, reports the American Journal of Transportation.
In September, Aeroflot carried 5.4 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 12.9 per cent. Aeroflot airline carried 3.3 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 10.1 per cent.
At the same time, Aeroflot added four aircraft: one SSJ100, one Boeing 737-800, one Airbus A320 and one Boeing 777-300. One Boeing 737-800 was phased out. As of 30 September 2018, the Group fleet had 361 aircraft.
