CSCL 19,200-TEU CSCL Indian Ocean runs aground near Hamburg
THE 19,100-TEU CSCL Indian Ocean, one of the world's biggest ships, has run aground in the River Elbe after a rudder malfunction as it approached Hamburg, Reuters reports.
Harbour traffic is not impeded by the grounding, say marine police, though attempts to refloat the 400-metre China Shipping vessel with tugs at high tide failed.
