Mooring lines holding the Salamis Lines-owned RoRo Alios parted last Friday during an unexpected wind storm setting loose the 170 meter ship to her own devices in the port of Lavrio.

THE crew of the specialised reefer ship Crown Sapphire has been honoured for their rescue of two men from a yacht in the Atlantic, receiving the Amver Assisted Rescue at Sea Award at the Lloyds List Global Awards ceremony held in London.
