Yantar Shipyard Delivers INS Teg to Indian Navy

On April 27th at the solemn ceremony Shipyard Yantar (member of United Shipbuilding Corporation ) has handed over the Frigate Teg («Sabre») to the Indian Navy. Delivery- Acceptance Act was signed by the Head of Naval Department of JSC Rosoboronexport Oleg Azizov and the Commanding Officer of Indian crew Capt. Rakesh Kumar Dahiya. Right after the Russian flag, under which the ship successfully passed all trials in Baltic sea, was lowered and flag of the Republic of India was hoisted the Teg was added to the armory of Indian Navy.

First out of three frigates built by Yantar Shipyard (Kaliningrad, Russia) will be delivered to Indian Navy in Apr 2012, reports RIA Novosti.

Tug Fairmount Sherpa has safely delivered rig GSF Arctic I in Las Palmas. The rig has been towed from offshore Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. GSF Arctic I is a semi-submersible drilling rig for deepwater operations, owned by Houston based Transocean.
